A Look Back at Our Documentary about Aptera’s Ghost: Tech Club Podcast

by Dennis Junk
on May 3, 2016

techclub-blog-thumbnail_The-Cats-Meow.jpgThis week we thought we’d take a break from a strict focus on technology and talk about something even more fun. So we invited Raul Perez, a graphic designer and video editor, to converse with us about the documentary project we all three worked on together last fall. As you’ll hear on the podcast, the project began as an effort to collect stories from our colleagues about strange occurrences at Aptera’s Fort Wayne headquarters followed by an investigation into the building’s history. But we ended up having to expand our research.

Raul, James, and I cover topics including:

  • How we first came up with the idea for the project
  • When each of us “caught the bug” and really got drawn into the story
  • What each of our takes on the story’s resolution is
  • How each of us interprets the evidence we were able to uncover
  • Whether we believe anything paranormal once occurred—or is occurring—in the buildingWilliam_White_Lot_113.jpg

It’s been just about 6 months since we finished the video, but we hadn’t gotten together to discuss our thoughts until it was time to record this podcast. This actually worked out really well because it gave us a chance to go over some of the discussion that got cut from the video to keep it from being even more excessively long. And the three of us are already discussing ideas for next Halloween. If you know of any places or events we could investigate, drop us an email at techclub@apterainc.com.

Here's a link to Raul's Halloween photo series (as promised in the podcast).
